Eligibility Criteria

  • This role requires basic experience in the function and with digital audio workstations. Knowledge equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited university (or a high school diploma with experience in a relevant field).
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (or a high school diploma and/or general education diploma with at least 2 years of experience in the function).

Job Description

  • Carry out the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and in compliance with business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements. This role includes mechanical and/or electrical engineering for all products.
  • Expand knowledge within one's own technical discipline to implement policies/strategies. May include support roles in specialized technical areas. Continue developing high-level knowledge and skills.
  • Basic understanding of key operational factors; uses this understanding to accomplish their own work. Good understanding of how their team’s work integrates with other teams and contributes to the overall field.
  • May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Solves problems in situations that require solid technical knowledge and judgment, following established procedures. Consults more experienced team members for issues outside defined instructions and parameters.
  • A role at this level requires strong interpersonal skills and may involve leading a junior team. For customer-facing roles, builds strong client relationships and acts as an interface between the client and GE Vernova. Communicates technical information clearly to colleagues.
