Eligibility Criteria

  • B.Tech/B.E in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 3-8 years prior relevant engineering experience or M.Tech/M.E in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 1-6 years prior relevant engineering experience
  • Eager to learn new things, contribute a fresh perspective, and share knowledge with others
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in working across functions, organizations, and all levels of management
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Broad understanding of gas turbine engine fundamentals and associated components
  • Results focus and the ability to drive tasks to completion through disciplined execution
  • Structural analysis experience on compressor hardware, especially Rotors, casings and kinematics
  • Strong technical skills in structural engineering tools & methods
  • Experience in the development of gas turbine engine compressor hardware
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a consistent record of collaboration, innovation, and initiative

Job Description

  • Ensure successful execution of projects using Engineering Standard Work (ESW).
  • Perform state-of-the-art ANSYS Finite Element Analysis for stress, vibration, determination of low cycle fatigue life and residual life (fracture mechanics) prediction.
  • Ability to write clear substantiation documentation, as well as to create and provide impactful, persuasive technical presentations to internal and external customers.
  • Drive execution efficiency on project commitments with high technical quality
  • Support planning and manage the technical tasks and milestones
  • Collaborate with project, discipline stakeholders to resolve key structural problems 
  • Embrace a continuous improvement philosophy. Develop and incorporate new ways to advance technology and improve processes as an individual and as a team contributor.
  • Contribute to PW IEC and Global structural engineering discipline forums
