Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or product development environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks) and other engineering tools.
Job Description
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems and components, particularly pumps, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company specifications. Conduct engineering analysis, including stress analysis, thermal analysis, and fluid dynamics.
- Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software (e.g., Creo and SolidWorks)
- Drawings completed with all necessary notes, views, and title block updates, in compliance with Franklin Electric design standards.
- Support the development of technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
- Minor Stack-up analysis and GD&T application.
- Bill of Material (BOM) Management using BOM tools in the JD Edwards ERP system.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering.
