Eligibility Criteria

  • BEng /BSc (Hon) or equivalent discipline with minimum 12 years post graduate experience
  • Member of/working towards associated Professional body membership
  • Modelling of gas networks
  • Detailed design of engineering solutions
  • Good report writing skills
  • Compiling authority approval documentation in accordance with local authority standards to obtain approvals.

Job Description

  • I provide Overall engineering solutions, analysis, specifications, and procurement support for the infra projects
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop innovative and efficient designs for infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards.
  • I develop feasibility studies for Gas network for new developments during master plan stages. 
  • I develop comparison between different gas options i.e. LPG, SNG,..etc. 
  • I design gas farms with the associated piping network for small, medium, large scale developments. 
  • Familiar with designs of LPG farms, Primar and Secondary pressure regulating station (PPRS& SPRS),..etc.  
  • Familiar with ADNOC, GASCO, Civil defense, NFPA and all relevant standards to Gas networks. 
  • Provide expert advice and technical guidance on all aspects of gas distribution, transmission, and storage systems, including gas pipelines and related facilities. 
  • Stay updated with the latest industry regulations and ensure that all gas infrastructure projects adhere to safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Oversee the execution of gas infrastructure projects, from conception to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with gas infrastructure projects, and develop contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients and provide regular updates on project progress, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing your knowledge and experience to facilitate their professional development.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in gas infrastructure to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in our projects.
  • Maintain accurate project records, technical documentation, and reports as required by clients and regulatory authorities.
  • I follow the QA/QC in compliance with the requirement of the projects
  • Organize &Attend progress meetings/communications with contractors, consultants and authorities.
  • To minimize end users comments and hence ensure clients satisfaction and quality of deliverables.
  • Review of Contractor shop drawings and materials submittals. 
  • Prepare design schedules, resource plan and assist in preparation of budgets.
