How to Apply for HCL FTE Recruitment 2026

1. Visit hindustancopper.com and register under the Career section, using the online application link.
2. Read the “How to fill the Online Application Form” instructions on the website before proceeding.
3. Fill in all mandatory details: qualifying degree details, exact percentage of marks (do not round off), email address, mobile number, correspondence address, and upload a scanned photograph and signature (JPEG) along with scanned qualification and experience documents.
4. Submit the application to receive your Application Number.
5. Print the Computer-Generated Online Application and the Acknowledgement Slip, and keep copies for your records.

Documents Required

• Date of Birth proof: Xth Standard Passing Certificate indicating DOB, OR School Leaving Certificate/Birth Certificate
• XIIth Standard Passing Certificate
• Mark sheets of Graduate/Post Graduate Degree and/or Professional Qualification, as applicable
• Graduate/Post Graduate Degree or Professional Qualification Certificate (Provisional certificate accepted if the Final Degree Certificate is not yet available)
• Experience Certificate for each declared organization, containing Designation, Department, Date of Joining, Date of Leaving, and job description/responsibility (date-specific if responsibility changed)
• Salary Slip & Bank Statement for the last 3 months / PF Statement / Appointment Letter and latest Form-16 of the last employment
• Any Statutory Certificate defined under the eligibility criteria for the applied discipline (e.g., MCI registration for M&HS, Surveyor Certificate of Competency for Survey)
• CGPA/GPA/SGPA-to-percentage conversion certificate from the University/Institute, where letter grades were awarded
• Caste/Category Certificate in the Government of India prescribed format, for SC/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates; OBC (NCL) certificate must be issued on or after 01.04.2026 (a certificate issued before that date may be used at application stage, subject to producing the valid one at joining)
• Self-certified English/Hindi translation of the SC/OBC certificate, if originally issued in another language
• Minimum any 2 of: Appointment Letter/Pay Slip/Form-16/PF Statement/Bank Statement (towards salary credit), for each declared employment, to be uploaded in the online application itself

Selection is based entirely on performance in the Personal Interview (PI) – 100% weightage. There is no written exam by default, though HCL reserves the right to conduct a written screening test to shortlist candidates for the interview, if required.

Zone of Consideration & Shortlisting

• Candidates are called for interview in the ratio of 1:5 (5 candidates per advertised vacancy); for a single vacancy, 10 candidates are shortlisted.
• If fewer than 5 applications are received for a post, the Selection Committee will assess and state the suitability of the interviewed candidates directly.
• Further shortlisting may be done from the eligible pool if posts remain vacant due to low turnout or an exhausted waitlist.
• Shortlisting criteria: 1 mark for each completed year of relevant experience beyond the minimum requirement (1/365 mark per additional day for incomplete years); 1 mark for each additional relevant degree over the minimum essential qualification, up to a maximum of 2 marks. HCL may add further criteria if required.

Document Verification

• Interview intimation is communicated by email only; call letters are issued to shortlisted candidates.
• Requests to change the interview/test date, time or venue once communicated will not be entertained.
• Candidates must bring an Original ID Card (Aadhaar, Driving Licence, or Voter ID) to the interview venue.
• Original documents (as listed under Documents Required below) will be verified at the interview; non-production of originals will debar the candidate from appearing.
