• The CBT will have 100 questions for 100 marks; each correct answer carries 1 mark, and there is no negative marking for wrong answers.
• Duration of the CBT is 90 minutes, available in Hindi or English (candidate's choice).
• Minimum qualifying percentage: 60% for UR/OBC (NCL)/EWS; 50% for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen. Final selection is on merit basis beyond the qualifying marks.
• Candidates give a preference of 5 cities for their Test Centre; no change is permitted later. Test Centre options include Delhi-NCR, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kanpur, Agra, Vadodara, Indore, Thane, Pune, Guwahati, Raipur (Chhattisgarh), Cuttack, Harohalli, Jaipur, and Patiala.
• Candidates applying for multiple posts should note that CBTs for different posts may clash in date/time - a candidate can appear in the CBT for one post only in such cases.

• NCRTC has released the new notification for the recruitment of Supervisor-I and Junior Maintainer New Vacancy 2026 for 90 Posts. The online application process will be conducted from 10 September 2026 to 09 October 2026.

Vacancy Notice No. 33/2026 invites applications for Supervisors and Non-Supervisors on contract (regular pay scale) basis, while Vacancy Notice No. 32/2026 invites applications for Operations & Maintenance Staff on direct recruitment basis.
