About Company
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering for complex products or instrumentation.
- Strong experience in mechanical design, CAD modeling, and tolerance analysis.
- Proven ability in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and design improvements.
- Experience working in cross-functional and global engineering teams.
- Experience with life sciences or analytical instrumentation (e.g., sample prep, PCR/qPCR).
- Experience with VAVE, cost optimization, and design for manufacturability (DFM/DFA).
- Familiarity with thermal analysis, fluidics integration, or precision mechanisms.
- Experience with regulated product development environments.
- Ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
Job Description
- Act as a technical lead for mechanical systems and subsystems, including assemblies, mechanisms, enclosures, and thermal/structural components.
- Lead design, analysis, and troubleshooting of mechanical components and systems.
- Drive root cause investigations for mechanical and system-level issues, including field failures and reliability concerns.
- Support design trade-offs, material selection, and tolerance analysis to optimize performance, cost, and manufacturability.
