Job Description
- As Design Engineer - Mechanical:
- 1. TRES design engineer should integrate well with existing design team of Power Transformer factories
- 2. He should be able to pull design/engineering document of old jobs (To cross reference old MMs/drawings).
- 3. Design related SAP knowledge with prime focus on MM/BOM creation and extension and Specifications of Spares from existing design records. .
- 4. Candidate should be well versed / get trained with process, reverse engineering and drawings (customization for few tailored orders).
- 5. Over all he should be able to support TRES function.
- 6. He should be able to support design related support and in free time could develop tools (at present not available to ease or automate process involved for better productivity).
- 7. Capable to create specifications (which needs to be floated to specific vendors for procurement of product/material).
- 8. Contribute in interpretation of test results of transformer, Transformer oil, fault finding and corrective action.
- 9. Help Sales team on deciding scope of repair, overhauling, replacement of components.
- 10. Expertise in Auto CAD, Pro-E and other design software
- Behavioral Required:
- Able to work within company rules and guidelines, teamwork, results oriented.
- Ensuring resolutions of Engineering issues by coordinating with various teams e.g. Product Experts, Production, Design etc.
- Recommending appropriate solution for requests.
