Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in HR compliance, or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Certification in HR Compliance preferred
Job Description
- Conduct regular review of HR policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations, including but not limited to EEOC, VETS, AAP and SOC/SOX
- Collaborate with HR teams to develop and implement corrective actions to address compliance gaps
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
- Conduct training and awareness on HR compliance-related topics
- Partner with legal counsel and external auditors to ensure the company's HR practices are compliant with legal requirements
- Participate in internal investigations related to HR compliance issues
- Monitor and report on compliance-related metrics, including audit findings and corrective actions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR compliance records
