Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor degree with experience or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Good understanding of HSE/ergonomics
- Good experience in CAD design of producition lines
- Comfortable both on CAD and shopfloor
- An experience of automotive Tier 1 assembly equipment is a plus
Job Description
- assembly lines according to Group Standards / Best in class practices / Performance (Cost, Quality, Timing, Maintenability...) & specific local requierments
- Follow up design and realization of assembly equipment (serial or prototyping) according to customer requirements, project specifications (Cost, Timing, Quality) assembly standards/best practices and EHS/ergonomics requirements
- Ensure proper equipment handover to the plant (performance convergence, training for plant team)
- Participate in technical knowledge improvement of assenbly department and in lessons learned Activities.
- Contribute to the conception of the assembly process and equipment with Engineering Project Manager, Manufacturing Project Manager and associated extended team.
- Support Manufacturing Project Manager for technical choices in order to improve the process.
- Establish technical and economic analysis of suppliers’ offers, together with purchasing department, in order to select the best solution.
- Realizes or contribute up the Design and the realization of assembly equipment including:
- Realize functional specifications regarding project elements and standard elements.
- Realize the design of the line using the group standards & tools and proposing the best technical solutions
- Validate equipment study (Including supervision of FMEA), ergonomics study and the choice of possible solutions.
- Update/adapt former feasibility study and technical choices if needed (Perimeter changes).
- Validate equipment in supplier workshop, fine tune the equipment in the plant and ensure smooth transfer to plant team.
- Ensure the tuning of the equipment is properly done following instructions given by Engineering Project Manager/Manufacturing Project Manager, in order to converge to the product conformity.
- Validate necessary documentation for each equipment
- Analyze results of actions plan, of validation plan and risk plans.
- Participate in capability validation for each equipment.
