Job Description
- Basic design engineering/calculations and preparation of specifications, drawings, manuals, control schemes, load calculations, QAP, cost estimations, for all electrical systems, automation & control systems
- System/equipment design/drawing review/approval, follow-up for clarifications, submissions,
- Familiar with the applicable standards and International codes
- Support for quality assurance, inspections, and factory acceptance tests
- Developing and maintaining department resources and technical knowledge to generate efficient and cost competitive solutions and timely deliverables
- Investigating new concepts for practicality, economy, and operating efficiency
- Coordination with the project management & site team
- Higher professional degree in Electrical or Electronics & telecommunication Engineering (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)
- At least 5 years of experience in hydro power sector
- Good knowledge/understanding on all the electrical packages/systems i.e. generator, control & protection system, SCADA, LV/MV/HV switchgears, Earthing, Power, AC & DC Systems, Cabling system & scheduling, Illumination, Communication & Surveillance system, substations etc.
- Exposure to QA and site installation/commissioning activities would be an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
