- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Relevant work experience required: 2 – 8 years with bachelor’s degree
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Emphasis on initiative and self-starting tasks.
Job Description
- Good understanding of Engine and Installation components
- Perform Hose/Tube/Duct/Bellow design, Engine mounting structures/castings, and mounting brackets design (capable to do complex design in Creo).
- Perform Cooling components placement by checking the layout of the whole machine and understanding the cooling system/schematic and creating concepts to further evaluate and select.
- Actively support a prototype, pilot, or production build and on-machine cooling system test.
- Validate Engine Installation & cooling components.
- Perform thermal & CFD analysis to validate the system performance.
- Perform bolted joint analysis & Creo simulate or equivalent FEA analysis.
- Good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, and Machine Bill of Material (BOM).
- Performs design calculations and is accountable for design decisions.
- Perform needs analysis and initiate ideas. Evaluate new products, processes, or systems.
- Communicate results to customers, suppliers, team members, and other business units.
