Job Description
- Multidiscipline meeting for RCM analysis, analyzing failure causes, complete RCM study and generate report.
- Develop good understanding and building skills as per the Reliability engineer’s competancy.
- Help and coordinate with the Senior Reliability engineers, various activities for analyzing gaps and improving reliability of the assets.
- Working with dedicated assets to understand the requirements and helping them identify gaps with the guidance from senior reliability engineers.
- Steep learning curve to develop skills for various reliability tools is high desirable.
- Complete reliability certifications like CMRP/CRE as agreed with the line manager.
- Constantly engage with site maintenance leads, original equipment manufacturers, vendors and conduct reliability studies in consultation with site maintenance personnel/senior reliability engineers.
- Interact and communicate with the site focal for reliability studies and maintenance strategies, understanding the intricacies about how the actual maintenance activities for heavy duty rotating equipment and other machinery have been planned and performed in various Units of Shell.
- Understanding the functions of the various equipments and instruments and also thorough knowledge of reading/ interpreting the engineering drawings (P&IDs, PEFS, PFDs).
- Managing stakeholders/ representatives of various operating units through effective communication and identifying & resolving the bottlenecks for data analysis, maintaining issue logs and use the same in implementing changes/improvments in the processes.
