Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline, with focus/experience on power electronics.
- Ability to analysis compontns stress, requirements, and selecting the right parts.
- Experience and deep understanding of Power Electronics, controls, and different kinds of power converters
- Having working knowledge of on-line dual conversion UPSs.
- A deep understanding, and practical knowledge of power switches, such as MOSFETs, IGBTs, SCRs, SiC technology, and related high frequency applications.
- Familiar with various control loop designs (e.g. PI, PID, Feed forward etc).
- LC and LCL filter design.
- Common and Differential mode EMI filter.
- MATLAB/Simulink modeling, simulations, and analysis skills.
- Able to design, develop and test the circuit boards and systems independently.
- Ability to work independently and be part of a global team.
- Ability to lead a team, as needed.
- Contribute to the rapid prototyping for new designs.
- Trouble shooting and Root cause analysis of circuits and Boards failures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Global teamwork experience.
- Can read and understand schematics.
- Use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and proficiency in distilling date and generating test reports and presentations.
Job Description
- Independently design and implement digital/analog power electronics circuits.
- Test and validate designs.
- Perform MATLAB/Simulink simulations.
- Design analog/digital control loops, as needed.
- Design EMI filters.
- Lead a team, as needed.
- Work independently, and part of a global team.
- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of circuits.Provide professional reports.
