Job Description
- This position is part of the Radiometer R&D IDC Hardware team located in India Development Center (IDC) Bangalore and will be working hybrid. At Radiometer, our vision is to improve global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses.
- You will be a part of the Radiometer R&D IDC Hardware team and report to the Engineering Manager responsible for Hardware Design & Development. If you thrive in a fast-paced multifunctional role and want to work to build a world-class Research & Development organization—read on.
- Ensure that documentation (drawing, manufacturing part specification, bill of material, etc.) is updated to meet the requirements.
- Make updated documentation that is approved by relevant stakeholders in R&D, Operations, QA, and RA.
- Run engineering change orders in collaboration with technical writer
- Participating in (or driving) R&D projects with successful outcome
- Should have 5+ years of relevant experience in Mechanical Engineering Product Design & Development domain including design, manufacturing, and market use of product.
- Experience with IVD and/or Life Science instruments.
- Familiar with ISO quality systems related to design control and product release requirements and audits.
- Experience with CREO CAD Tool.
- Demonstrated experience with ASME and / or ISO dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Experience in Tolerance stack-up, tolerance calculations, CpK and measurement methods.
- Good knowledge of statistics and data processing.
- Mechanical design, modelling, performance analysis, and trade-off analysis.
- Packaging of cameras, optics, printed circuit boards, pumps and valves a distinct plus.
- Background in the design and construction of Plastic / metallic / glass components.
- a plus.
- Materials and component selection for reliability and chemical compatibility.
- Good systems knowledge to work within a cross-functional and remote teams
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and on cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical skills and structured approach to problem solving
- Competences within documentation and document structures, as this is a large part of our everyday life.
