• The role is Engineer position for the engineering office at Mumbai. The person would be involved in the design function with responsibility for performing Design and quality checks on engineering documentation in Piping.
• Develop Piping 3D Model for brownfield projects using Auto desk Plant 3D/ E3D (Preferred Plant 3D).
• Prepare project set up and data base in plant 3D.
• Design of new/ modified piping with reference to laser scan data in 3D model.
• Create Pipe spec material database in Auto cad Plant 3D.
• Develop Equipment & Piping layout considering operational, maintenance & safety requirements.
• Design of primary and secondary pipe support in Plant 3D based on Stress Engineer recommendation.
• Generate piping isometric & General arrangement drawings from 3D.
• Develop piping tie in package.
• Preparation of Material Take Off’s.
• Review of 3D model and participate in 30%, 60% & 90% model review.
• Review of Piping Engineering deliverables received from Engineering contractor in Basic & Detail Engineering stage.
• Knowledge of relevant codes & standard like ASME, API & MSSP.
• Knowledge of Europian codes & standard will be an added advantage.
• Quality control of Piping Documentation.
• Knowledge of piping Stress Analysis.
• Knowledge of Piping & Valve Material specifications., Insulation, Painting.
• Should have Excellent communication skills and should have participated in International projects.
• Additional required Competencies:
• Should have hands on experience in Piping 3D tools and other work/ software handling experience mentioned below:
• Auto cad plant 3D (preferred).
• Detail Engineering brownfield/ modification project using Laser Scan data.
• should be able to handle the challenges during interface of 3D tool and laser scan data.
• should have detail knowledge about piping and valve material specification.
• have detail knowledge about piping codes & standard for design, layout, Material & installation.
• should have basic knowledge about Piping stress analysis.
