Job Description
- Perform best in class quality assessment to secure, up-front, successful usage of 3DS solutions. Optimize testing cycle time for accelerated delivery while improving test coverage for product quality and customer use.
- Will be responsible for Testing and Certification of DELMIA suite of Digital Manufacturing applications.
- Review functional specifications for completeness and testability.
- Work with extended team to understand customer requirements better.
- Coordinate testing efforts, define time estimates for different test phases.
- Design and generate high quality, cost effective test cases.
- Execute test cases using black box techniques and automated testing where applicable.
- Provide testing status, generate reports, track metrics, and create postrelease summaries.
- Manage the testing environment. Manage test machines and hardware needed to support the testing effort.
- Bachelors or Masters of Engineering in Mechanical/Industrial Production/Automobile/Aeronautical having experience of 1 to 4 years in Manufacturing or Service Engineering Domain
- Will be responsible for Testing and Validation of DELMIA Machining Suite of Software Applications - Prismatic, NC Milling (3-axis, 5-axis), Additive Manufacturing
- Responsible in all levels of testing, from maintenance releases to major releases with new features. Participate in the Go/No-Go release readiness decision and risk assessments.
- Leverage Customer usage and end user feedback to improve test effectiveness of DELMIA Applications
- Identify and report software defects to Software Engineer with severity definition
- Verify Internal Defect fixes and quality exit criteria
- Benchmark DELMIA Machining software with other competitive software and define enhancement requests for the product
- Provide Trainings and assist Technical Sales team on DELMIA Machining\Additive Applications on a need basis
- Experience working with CATIA\DELMIA V5 or 3DExperience Machining Applications or similar applications like Siemens NX CAM, Mastercam, Vericut.
- Good NC Programming knowledge along with Tool Selection for Machining processes.
- Knowledge on different Manufacturing Processes and Terminologies in an Automotive or Aerospace Domain.
- Have skill set for Critical thinking with strong attention to detail
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
- Should possess high learnability
- Basic understanding of Software development processes.
- Willingness to learn Programming language with purpose of Automation
