Eligibility Criteria
- Mid-level experience with a variety of disk storage subsystems and SAN switches including Hitachi, Nimble, NetApp, Qumulo and Brocade.
- Deep understanding of SCSI, NFS and CIFS protocols
- Disk Storage configuration management experience
- Hands on experience with storage-based replication technologies
- Automation tools
- Good English speaking and written skills
- Top-tier critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a service-oriented team environment
- Project Management, organization, and time management
- Customer focused, and dedicated to the best possible user experience
- Able to communicate effectively with both technical and business resources
Job Description
- Provide L2 support for all disk storage related issues across the enterprise
- Respond to and assist in production operations in a 24/7 environment
- Provide support to, and coordinate with internal users, operations staff, and vendor resources for root cause on issue
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support based on escalations
- Provide technical analysis, resolve problems, and propose solutions
- Participate as a resource for project driven initiatives
- Identification and automation of manual tasks using scripting and application development
