Job Description
- The Associate Senior electrical engineer will manage team of designers and engineers to create world class design on a variety of projects from concept design through completion of construction. Project focus would be data centers and telecommunications facilities but could include a variety of other facilities including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, manufacturing, airports, or institutional facilities in the US. Specific areas of responsibility include the following:
- Designs electrical systems/equipment to provide a useful and safe environment for the mission critical market in accordance with the clients’ requirements for reliability and uptime.
- Advises clients regarding electrical systems/requirements available to meet their needs and comply with all applicable codes.
- Monitors installation of designed equipment/systems to ensure compliance with design documents.
- Conducts fault studies, arch flash, harmonic analysis, motor starting and load flow analysis. Develop design criteria for protective device coordination, relay selection, medium voltage transformers, switchgear, medium and low voltage distribution.
