- Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAE software and analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials science, and mechanics. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
- Project management skills are often preferred for handling complex analysis projects
Job Description
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and other simulation techniques to model and analyze various aspects of product design, such as structural integrity, thermal behavior, fluid flow, and more.
- Create and validate computer models that accurately represent real-world physical behaviors, including material properties, boundary conditions, and environmental factors.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to identify opportunities for design improvement and optimization, considering factors like weight reduction, cost reduction, and performance enhancement.
- Conduct risk assessments by identifying potential design flaws or vulnerabilities and proposing solutions to mitigate these risks.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing analysis results, providing actionable recommendations for design modifications.
- Proficiently use CAE software tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, COMSOL, MATLAB, or specialized industry-specific software.
- Analyze large sets of simulation data to extract meaningful insights and trends for product improvement.
- Collaborate closely with design engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that CAE analysis aligns with project goals and timelines.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in CAE technologies and techniques to ensure best practices are applied
