About Company
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent engineering experience
- Five (5-10) years of specifically related experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly through test
- Experiences with automated test applications highly recommended
- National Instruments LabVIEW experience or certification highly recommended
- Knowledge of GenRad systems, Visual Basic, C++, or other software development tools would be beneficial
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products required
Job Description
- Supports the introduction of new products into production following the Veeder-Root APD Process.
- Develop, implement, and troubleshoot functional diagnostic programs for production test equipment and PCBA’s.
- Interface, train, and provide technical support to production personnel for release of new products and test procedures.
- Design electronic and mechanical prototype and permanent test equipment in support of new product development efforts.
- Work closely with other departments during the development process to ensure design for safety, testability, manufacturability, and cost position.
- Develop and determine optimal test methods and justify the purchase of capital equipment, software or services for developing test systems.
- Demonstrate the ability to perform as a self-starter to drive continuous improvement efforts in areas of responsibility.
- Develop and participate in cost reduction initiatives through continuous improvements of test methods and yields
- Provide engineering support by troubleshooting problems and implementing timely solutions to maintain continuity of production flow.
- Support manufacturing floor as required.
- Must possess strong communication skills and demonstrate the ability to work individually or in a team environment.
