Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable institute. 5 to 11 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering in MACHINING
- Experience in an automotive component manufacturing company or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Proficiency in various manufacturing systems, facilities, sub-systems, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with time study, motion study, layout planning, and other industrial engineering functions. Experience in process planning and proving for new products.
- Up-to-date knowledge of various manufacturing processes and industry trend
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking abilities. Display stable, disciplined, and systematic work approach. Excellent communication and people management skills.
Job Description
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes and facilities to meet customer requirements in terms of delivery, quality, and cost.
- Reduce setup time by designing and developing efficient machines, fixtures, tools, and gauges.
- Prepare documentation for Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Identify and explore options to reduce tooling costs.
- Ensure timely completion of process development activities and regulate Engineering Change Notice (ECN) implementation. Hand over documents, tools, and spare parts to Process Engineers in the Value Stream.
