About Company
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military or industrial training with 10 years of experience” in mechanical/controls engineering, energy services, plant operations, or related field or Construction Management.
- Previous Data Center/Mission critical experience.
- Experience in the commissioning or maintaining of mechanical and mechanical systems.
- Experience with working with general contractors and excellent skills in communicating expectations.
- Knowledgeable in major regulations, industry codes and standards as well as basic construction materials, means and methods.
Job Description
- Manage plans, provide and gather specifications, and execute assignments in a multidisciplinary engineering Commissioning remote support role for large facility projects.
- Review design criteria, specifications, drawings, equipment submittals, and other documentation pertinent to commissioning.
- Provide reports with review findings.
- Identify and assemble required documentation, drawings, and data from clients, vendors, and contractors.
- Develop site-specific commissioning plans.
- Develop and/or review factory witness test procedures for major equipment.
- Review completed commissioning documents and review state of completion and summarize missing and incomplete results.
- Develop pre-functional construction checklists for various building Mechanical systems including air handlers, humidifier, VAVs, VRFs, unit heaters, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, heat exchangers economizer, plumbing, fire alarm, and fire suppression systems.
- Develop functional tests for various building Mechanical systems including air and water side cooling systems and environmental controls.
- Support writing comprehensive final commissioning report.
