Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelors/ Masters of Engineering in Mechanical or Production.
- 7-10 years' experience in manufacturing shop floor/sourcing/engineering/pricing/cost-management or other cost/data analytics field in machining,casting and forging.
- Knowledge in dealing with the Limit, Fit and Tolerances, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Experience in handling production activities at manufacturing facilities
- Experience in Interacting with Suppliers & Internal teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Excellent time management and professionalism.
- Ensure seamless communication across Engineering & Manufacturing sectors, Global Business Units, and Global functions.
- Ability to read 2D and 3D drawings (Experience with CAD software - added advantage).
- Knowledge of various cost analysis software/tools ex - aPriori, Costimator or various should costing methods.
Job Description
- Analyze component specifications and customer demands to devise meticulous manufacturing process plans encompassing machining, casting, and forging methods.
- Develop comprehensive manufacturing plans that outline step-by-step processes, material usage, workflow, and quality control measures.
- Ensure alignment of manufacturing plans with customer specifications, demands, and quality expectations.
- Monitor production processes, gather data, and implement improvements to maintain high efficiency and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective measures.
- Train production teams in adhering to the devised manufacturing process plans and safety protocols.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in machining, casting, and forging technologies to propose innovative solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes, reduce costs.
