Eligibility Criteria
- B.E. / B. Tech. in Mechanical engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited engineering college with 4+ years of product development experience
- M.E. / M. Tech in Mechanical engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited engineering college with 2+ years of product development experience
Job Description
- Design Rock Tools based on simulation, failure analysis, test data, voice of customer etc.
- Refine and improve product designs by conducting investigations and developing solutions.
- Use geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) to determine tolerances of key components.
- Derive simulation methods and run simulations to understand if design meets pass/fail criteria.
- Strategize & perform design / test / simulation DOE to determine critical influencing parameters.
- Collaborate with suppliers for manufacturing reviews.
- Transform test data / simulation data in a format that enables data driven decision making.
