Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s or Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in power systems is preferable
- Minimum 5 years of experience in power system analysis and studies
- Proficient in simulation and modeling software such as ETAP, Power Factory or PSCAD
- Detailed knowledge of protection and coordination schemes for electrical equipment
- Excellent knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to power systems
- Strong analytical skills, solution-oriented and customer focused mindset
Job Description
- Leading and conducting power system studies to analyze system performance, identifying issues and recommending solutions
- Developing power system models using software such as ETAP, Power Factory and PSCAD
- Performing power system studies like load flow, short-circuit, protective device coordination and arc flash analyses for large and complex systems
- Developing protection and coordination schemes for electrical equipment in high, medium and low voltage networks
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers to empower them to perform power system studies independently
- Coordinating activities with other team members of the global power studies and consulting team
- Preparing accurate, well-organized technical reports and presentations summarizing study findings and recommendations
