Eligibility Criteria
- 5 years of experience handling customer issues and quality topics
- Experience of performing and leading quality analyses, e.g., FMEA, and Fishbone diagram
- Knowledge of 8D process
- Experience of working with suppliers to the automotive industry is preferred
- Experience of providing training to, and coaching of, individuals and groups
- Experience of system, hardware, software development and verification activities in the automotive industry
- Data analysis competence and Analytical skills
- Knowledge of agile way of working
- Knowledge of vehicle technology
- Fluent in spoken and written English
Job Description
- Coach engineering in performing quality-related activities in development projects, e.g screening, quality assurance plan, FMEA,
- Provide training in quality methods
- Secure that thorough lessons learned is made in the PIL process
- Highlight to the project the significant issues from “quality history” on current products.
- Summarize high risks identified from Quality tools, with the final product and final customer perspective, and present the risks to the project and line management.
- Drive RCA process for issues.
- Escalate quality concerns and issues using established escalation procedures
- Represent their organization in Volvo quality networks
- Update and improve the quality Way-of-Working e.g., by creating/improving/adopting templates, training material and quality assurance processes, etc.
- Monitor & track PIL issues for the department and publish dashboards
- Provide warranty related analysis
