Eligibility Criteria
- Have an experience in managing and troubleshooting Juniper & Cisco routers and switches
- Demonstrate hands-on BGP experience with a large service provider organization
- Display solid experience in IP network design and routing architectures
- Have working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and Python programming language
- Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills and ability to build trusting relationships
- Be a highly organized self-starter who is comfortable working both independently and with cross-functional teams
Job Description
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining Juniper and Cisco routers and switches
- Configuring and debugging complex peering relationships via BGP (policies/route-maps) as well as high-capacity data circuits
- Working with vendors and internal organizations to build out large points of presence across the globe
- Collaborating with the cross-functional team on standards and processes for router deployments and update documentation accordingly
- Creating and maintaining detailed documentation on router configuration and non-standard setups
- Acting as an escalation point to resolve provider connectivity issues
