Eligibility Criteria
- Electronic Design, Systems Design, Test Engineering, or Electronic Component Engineering experience required.
- Experience in Harmonized Tariff Schedule, Technical Services, trade compliance analyst, HTS code assignment, Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN’s).
- Read, analyze and interpret scientific and technical documents
- Able to quickly learn new software application and adapt to project related process changes.
- Detailed and thorough in work habits with high multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, proficient with internet e-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Outlook and other software.

Job Description
- Performs technical data research, assessment and acquisition using the Internet, supplier websites, search engines, spreadsheets, or internal databases to determine the correct HTS code and ECCN Code.
- Reviewing product descriptions and technical data to determine import / export classification in accordance with the published Schedule (HTS) Schedules and other approved resources for Import/Export compliance.
- Research and audit import / export invoices and reconcile discrepancies.
- Assign appropriate Harmonized Tariff Codes (HTS), and Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN’s) to all purchased and sold electronic products.
- Interpret Customs rulings, explanatory notes, and technical product drawing to determine correct classifications.
- Performs technical data research, assessment to determine the correct HTS code and basic ECCN Code to all purchased and sold electronic products.
- Review product descriptions and technical data to determine import / export classification in accordance with the published Schedule (HTS) Schedules and other approved resources for Import/Export compliance. Enter classification codes as per approved documentation standards.
