Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2-7 year’s of experience working in Mechanical design for dry type or oil filled transformers manufacturing industry. Candidates with higher experience also to be considered.
- Should have good understanding of IS/ IEC / CBIP standards.
- Should have knowledge of dry type transformer.
- Experience in winding design is advantage.
- Knowledge on CAD software, 3D Modeling software like Creo is must.
- Experience in Microsoft office, E3 software, SAP and any other analysis tools is an added advantage.
- Ability to speak and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.
- Demonstrated team building skills, would be a preference.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
Job Description
- The selected engineer will be the part of factory engineering team of dry transformer design.
- Preparation of tender drawings and order drawings for onward submission to customer for their review and approval as per project schedule.
- Responsible to generate manufacturing, purchase drawings and Bill of material meeting factory limitation, guidelines and checklists.
- Coordinating design activities with HUB and Global team for any special requirements and new implementations
- Participation in internal design concept reviews and even with other functions for any special designs
- Visiting shop floor to attend issues if any and resolve it.
