- Bachlors/Masters in Mechanical Engineering
Job Description
- To be responsible for the mechanical design of components and assemblies for surface or downhole products as a part of Sustaining or New Product Development Team
- To develop and review manufacturable drawings in accordance with standard modelling and detailing practices to manage the Product Lifestyle process
- To carry out detailed engineering calculations
- To define testing procedures and coordinate with others to perform and document test results
- To conduct and/or participate in technical design reviews
- To plan, coordinate, and manage professional engineering work: including modifying proven approaches and devise new techniques with continuous improvement approach
- To make presentations effectively to technical and management audiences
- To contribute to design standards and support design re-use (best practices, lessons learnt, design books, standard work instructions, etc.)
