Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of related experience in executing component testing.
- Prior experience in handling and driving product qualification activities.
- Experience with Solid Works in drafting, modelling, fixture design, detailing practices.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes like welding, sheet metal stamping, casting etc.
- Ability to manufacture fixtures for testing using the machine shop.
- Experience in developing component test specifications.
- Positive attitude and be a team player.
Job Description
- Complete product testing and qualification as per test requirements.
- Setup the test rig along with fixtures for component qualification.
- Analyze the test results using the relevant test software.
- Create and publish the test reports.
- Designing the test fixtures.
- Modelling the tracker parts and creating component & assembly drawings.
- Support engineering teams with fixture design and development.
- Collaborate with various cross-functional teams (product engineering and NPI teams).
- Engage with suppliers in fixture development.
