Eligibility Criteria
- B.E/B.Tech or ME/M.tech in Mechanical / Aerospace and related engineering areas
- Master's degree - 0 to 3 years or Bachelor's degree - 3 to 5 years experience in product design & development in Aerospace industry
- Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) GB certification is necessary for internal candidates.
- Experience in handling Design for Manufacturing, DFMEA & DVPR
Job Description
- The primary responsibility of this role is to design and develop Aerospace MSD (Mission System Division) Products to meet product requirements including safety, reliability, and conformance to standards
- The candidate in this position is responsible for the successful execution of a wide range of Aerospace Mission Systems related projects, including New Product Introduction, VAVE, B&P, and Sustaining Engineering, while driving continuous improvement to meet project KPIs (Focus 5, NPI Efficacy), and ensure stakeholder and customer satisfaction
- Should have experience in Sustaining engineering, New Product Development (NPD) & Internal Research & Development (IRAD) programs preferably in the Aerospace industry
- Should have proficiency in mechanical and pneumatic design & drafting (CAD tools), GD&T & statistical tolerancing
- Candidate should have experience and know-how in developing business proposals handling RFI/RFP/RFQ process by providing engineering inputs to customer inquiries, creating solutions and estimating materials, testing costs, and Engineering NRE for Aerospace products/program
