Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven software development experience and Android skills development.
- Proven working experience in Android app development and have published at least one original Android app.
- Experience with Android SDK.
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
- Strong object-oriented design and coding skills (Java and/or Kotlin).
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Job Description
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features that impact Rupeek’s business, with an emphasis on Mobile, Payments, Core Platform, and Analytics.
- Work with outside data sources and APIs to integrate seamlessly with existing systems.
- Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and roll out system changes that meet requirements for functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, and adherence to development goals and principles.
- Conduct unit tests for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Fix bugs and improve application performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Assist directly and indirectly in the continual hiring process.
