• Strong documentation and process discipline with close attention to details
• Proficiency in creating 2D mechanical and electrical CAD documents
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or closely related field.
• Relevant additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Previous experience in a similar working environment
• Solid knowledge of 3D modelling, preferably SolidWorks, Inventor and AutoCAD
• Managing engineering change notes
• Wide-ranging technical background
• Previous experience in all or some of the following areas:

Manufacturing

Mechanical/material handling

Conveyor systems

Control systems

Electrical power systems

MRP Systems

• Mechanical design and GA drawings for each customer, CAD work.
• Create detailed mechanical drawings for manufacturing.
• Use stress analysis tools to determine material/design requirements.
• Managing engineering change notes through MRP system from creation to completion.
• Compliance to functional safety and standards.
• Supporting manufacturing teams during equipment builds.
• Liaising with Project Management, Engineering, Manufacturing and Installation teams.
• Liaising with End User / Customer on a technical level.
