About Company
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or B.Tech from a reputed institute Good command of English (written and spoken)
- Work Experience Required: At least 7-9 years experience Engineer position in a manufacturing/engineering environment(Mechanical Design and Development)
- Preferred: Dealing with electromechanical products preferably cable assemblies and connectors.
- Hands on working knowledge of Siemens NX 3D CAD software & Team Centre
- Hands on experience in New Product Design & Development (NPI/NPD) of electro-mechanical products.
- Good knowledge in diecasting, plastics & sheet metal component design & development.
- Good Knowledge on the Seal designs, IP ratings and rubber seal materials.
- Good knowledge on GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, dimensions, and structural analysis
- Impeccable attention to design detail.
- Having experience in connector design will be added advantage.
- He/she shall have the strong basics of mechanical engineering with knowledge on hand calculations, knowledge on IP sealing design.
- Develop and build prototypes and run tests to measure their level of function
- Prepare test plan, record and evaluate testing data, modifying design as necessary to bring them to safety, performance and efficiency standards 2 of 2
- Knowledge on the Engineering Change Notification process for design changes.
- Closely work with manufacturing teams during product manufacturing, advising them on design specifications, manufacturing process document development and providing physical assistance when required.
- Ensure design of components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry and business standards
- Able to understand industry standards like ISO, IEC, UL, CE e.t.c and implement in the design & development.

- Attend Daily meetings and deliver the assignments given by the Managers as required.
- Attend weekly team meetings to provide progress reports, obtain updates on colleagues’ progress, strategize on steps for following week and acquire information about projected emerging product lines.

- Able to work in a team environment with ability to work on your own, Self-motivated attitude
- Meet the organization goals and targets and achieve by executing the plans meticulously.
- Support the Team Members in case of problems. Functional relation with other HARTING departments
- Cross Functional Team especially, Production, Engineering, Purchase and Industrial Engineer.
- On request by the superior manager, the employee besides his actual functions, can be involved to do other tasks which do not correspond to his routine activities sphere.
