About Company
Job Overview
- Engineering interns at Hinge Health are university students majoring in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields, who join us for a 6 months to 1 year internship on highly collaborative, cross-functional teams.
- During the internship, they actively participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to Hinge Health’s iOS, Android, and Web apps across various domains.
- Interns work on small interdisciplinary teams focused on different parts of the user journey, where they build proof of concepts, extend well-tested APIs, contribute to new minor features, address tech debt, and support automation efforts.
- They also share responsibility for maintaining healthy live site operations.
- Each intern is supported by a dedicated manager and mentored by team members to help them grow their skills, become comfortable with our tech stack and workflows, and make meaningful contributions to team goals.
- You’ll have the opportunity to learn one or more areas of our tech stack once you join: JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, GraphQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, React Native, Rails, Aptible, AWS, Postgres, Redis, Apollo, and Redux.
Eligibility Criteria
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI/ML or related technical field
- Demonstrated experience with multiple programming languages (Python, Typescript) and frameworks, along with knowledge of cloud technologies and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with AI and ML, along with exposure to working with LLM
- Basic knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and database management
