- Required Characteristics:
- Competence in SAP

- Competence in valve product definition
- Sound practical experience with industrial systems
- Fluency in English
- EHS compliance ability
- Strong communication skills

- Experience in Power Electronics industry
- Ability to coordinate and lead a small group of engineers
- Good at sharing knowledge and experience

Job Description
- Candidates should have proven experience using Master Data and/or Procurement functions within SAP to manage operations and a significant exposure to Valve product within HVDC.
- It is key that the candidate has the ability to work quickly and efficiently within an engineering team.
- An enquiring mind and desire to learn new skills, and engineering products such as HVDC.
- A key drive for improvement, driving standards and working methods into forward to enhance our business effectiveness.
- Lead product lifecycle scope.
- Deliver costing of the valve product at tender stage.
- Lead the Cost to Completion during project phase.
- Create standard material masters - (Data obtained from Engineering) and advise on Material Structure.
- Create contract specific material data.
- Input data from project plan - (Obtain from Ops, delivery dates and conditions).
- Create and maintain Purchase Requisitions for Valve Structure PP10 procurement - (Project Builder).
- Create and maintain EASY Purchase Requisitions / IST interface.
- Ongoing maintenance of Material Masters and Project Module.
- Review procedures and practices.
- Process improvement identification and implementation.
- Create and Maintain Project specific SAP BOM.
- Maintain specific KPI’s for the Project team.
- Prepare Training Material as required.
- Training of Key Users.
- Ongoing Development of new methods which will Automate and reduce the lead-time between engineering definition through to the procurement process.
- Supporting Key User with daily Trouble Shooting.
- Running of SAP reports as required to support business functionality.
