About Company
Job Overview
- This role involves the design, development, and testing of wiring harness components such as connectors, terminals, and insulating parts.
- The position is within the electrical center of excellence division at Cat technology and will focus on developing new harness components for Caterpillar machines.
Eligibility Criteria
- A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
- Candidates should have 8 to 12 years of experience in the design and development of connectors.
- Experience in high voltage connector design and development will be considered an advantage.

Job Description
- Develop connectors according to specific application requirements. Oversee the current product portfolio and offer guidance on application usage.
- Develop and execute validation plans (DVP&R) for wiring harness components, including environmental and durability testing.
- Overseeing compliance with development processes and regulations for harness components
- Investigating and troubleshooting all technical issues related to wiring harness components
- Managing and negotiating with harness components suppliers for the development of systems and components.
- Mentoring drawing detailing, technicians and engineers in the design and development of wiring harness components.
- Drive innovation by adopting new technologies and materials for improved reliability and cost-effectiveness
