About Company
Job Overview
- Your role will be to deliver projects to our customers which drive value from our broad range of software applications.
- As such you will be working with customers to identify their end to end simulation requirements, defining functional needs and delivering a solution which meets those functional requirements within a defined timescale.
- As part of the role you will be collaborating with experienced members of the SIMULA HUB and other departments within the DS ecosystem, including technical sales, support and Research and Development.
- As a result you will become a trusted technical advisor to the customer.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelors or, preferably, Master’s Degree in Engineering related discipline;
- 2-10 years working within an industrial environment
- Experience performing implicit and explicit finite element simulations using commercial software such as Abaqus, Ansys, Nastran, or Dyna.
- Experience building models using commercial CAD software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo, and NX
- Programming experience using scripting languages, Python, VBA, or EKL are preferable;
- Process automation using tools such as Isight
- Knowledge of working using PLM or within a managed data environment
- Knowledge and experience of the 3DEXPERIENCE environment
- Good analytical/logical and communication skills
