About Company
Eligibility Criteria
- A Master's degree in Ocean Engineering or a similar field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in offshore engineering, in installation or in-place analysis of flexible products.
- Proficiency in OrcaFlex and Python.
- Experience with offshore standards from DNVGL.
- Working knowledge of cross-section analysis tools such as Helica or Uflex.
Job Description
- Analyse offshore cable installation projects, including cable laying, pull-in analysis, joint overboarding, spooling operations, crane operations, and fatigue analysis.
- Develop Python software tools to interface with OrcaFlex and improve analysis methodology.
- Train junior engineers and collaborate with various departments and external customers.
- Document and verify planned operations to ensure safety and provide guidance on weather limitations, loads, and risks.
- Travel to the site in Karlskrona during the introduction phase.
