Job Overview
- We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Design Engineer to join our growing team in Bangalore.
- In this role, you will play a key role in developing innovative new industrial products for the transportation industry.
Eligibility Criteria
- Proven record designing industrials or equivalent products for transportation gets you up and running quickly, delivering immediate impact.
- Should have strong knowledge of pneumatic systems, pressure vessels and relevant standards like ASME etc.
- Experience in NPD, LCE or VAVE of industrial products used in Transportation industries.
- Familiarity with DFMEA, 5 Why Analysis, Design Gate processes and FEA result interpretation to identify and mitigate potential design issues for high-quality products.
- Expertise PLM system and Expertise in SAP Module.
- Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across locations.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Proactive, self-motivated with strong prioritization skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT).
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for short durations (as required).
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (M.E./MTech not mandatory).
- Min 3-5 years’ relevant experience after graduation.
Job Description
- Lead and participate in the design and development of industrial products.
- Conduct i2V workshops, brainstorm ideas and create alternative designs to optimize product performance.
- Manage the lifecycle of existing products, ensuring their continued functionality and efficiency.
- Provide manufacturing support to our global plants for seamless production processes.
- Understand and apply global standards to all design projects.
- Leverage your expertise in mechanical design calculations to optimize product designs.
