- The R&D Product development Engineer is part of Product development team responsible to
- developing new products for pressure, speed and position sensors.
- You will be part of the new
- product development team and involve from understanding customer requirements to designing,
- validating, and supporting mass production. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver highquality, cost-effective, and reliable product design for sensors
Eligibility Criteria
- B.E / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 4- 6 years of hands-on experience in End-to-End
- product development of Plastic and Sheet metal components.
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes (Molding, stamping, plating and assembly)
- Good understanding of various engineering deliverables at different phases during Product
- development process.
- Proficient with standards of modelling, drafting and Engineering change procedures.
- Proficient working knowledge on Creo & Windchill. Ability to run FEA simulation (Structural)
- Good verbal and written communications skills, ability to communicate Globalexternall
- levels internally and externally
Job Description
- Delivering new product development and Sustenance project activities like Concept
- generation, Concept validation, Creation of detailed designs and drawings, creation of
- product validation / Qualification test plans, perform component fit and function analysis.
- Design of Plastic and Sheet metal components in Creo by applying DFM/DFA principles.
- Strong knowledge about G&DT usage and tolerance stack analysis
- Review Dimension / test reports and provide engineering approvals to Tools/ products
- Perform Engineering change management in Windchill and create necessary Product
- Specifications and documents.
- Identify VAVE opportunities and work with plants and other stakeholders to implemefficientl
- Should be able to interact with global stakeholder (PM/Sales etc.) and directly with
- Customers and communicate technical details efficiently.
