Job Overview
- Management/financial awareness.

- Be responsible for delivering work to a fee agreed with a Project Manager.

- Assist the manager in resource planning and team allocation
- Coordinate project resources.
- Plan projects.
- Achieve 95% chargeable time.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering / building services engineering.
- Master's Degree/Chartered Engineering status is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in engineering consultancy firms.
- Experience in Middle East projects will be highly preferred.
- Have a proven record as a Design Engineer on projects such as commercial, high-rise residential, mixed-use, hotels or data centre projects.
Job Description
- HVAC design, including load calculations, system selection (Chilled Water, VRF/DX, and Packaged Systems), equipment sizing and selection, pressurization systems, smoke extraction design in compliance with local fire codes, and energy-efficient design solutions.
- Delivery of projects through all design stages, including Concept Design, Schematic Design, Detailed Design, and IFC
- Coordination with Architectural, Structural, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and other disciplines to ensure integrated design delivery.
- Prepare markups and review of HVAC drawings and BIM models using AutoCAD and Navisworks/ACC.
- Knowledge of design philosophy/design fundamentals and codes/guidelines such as ASHRAE, CIBSE, NFPA, Local Fire Code and Local Authority Requirements
- Demonstrates strong engineering analysis and problem-solving skills
- Technical Software skills: HAP, IES VE is a plus, Bluebeam, AutoCAD basics, Navisworks, ACC.
- Should be responsible for Quality Management (QA) for their team.
- Have knowledge of the company’s delivery in CAD standards and 3D working.
