- This role requires advanced experience. The level of knowledge is comparable to a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
Job Description
- Identify, develop, evaluate, implement, and manage engineering solutions for product and control system technology requirements. Apply control theory and mathematical modeling to design and control systems to achieve desired behavior. This includes operability, boundary setting, cycle optimization, control logic, control-related software, sensors, hardware and software algorithms, and feedback to control the performance of devices, subsystems, and systems.
- Deepening of knowledge in a technical discipline. Uses previous experience and acquired technical expertise to implement guidelines/strategies.
- A solid understanding of the key business drivers; uses this understanding to perform one's own work. In-depth knowledge of how one's own team's work integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
- Uses a certain degree of judgment and has the ability to suggest various solutions outside the established parameters, but with guidance. Uses previous experience and on-the-job training to solve simple tasks. Has access to the technical skills and analytical thinking required to solve problems. Can use multiple internal sources outside their own team to make decisions.
- A position at this level is likely to be filled by a single employee with proven interpersonal skills or a future leader who can recruit and develop talent. They provide informal guidance to new team members.
