Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience with design and development of mechanical components
- Working knowledge of 3D CAD software (Creo) and PLM software (Teamcenter)
- Experience working within multi-disciplinary engineering teams and with suppliers
Job Description
- Design and development of Base frame, Enclosure, air intake, exhaust, fuel systems, control panel and circuit breaker panels for diesel and gas generator products
- Perform design calculations, structural analysis and mechanical components selection to meet product functional design requirements
- Create new CAD models and drawings for systems, sub-systems, assemblies, and components using Creo.
- Understand and apply good drawing practice, including geometric tolerancing.
- Use knowledge of various manufacturing processes to deliver the solution that meets DFA & DFM
- Provide technical support to quality & purchasing during part development
- Work with business unit, SMEs, Project leads, electrical and mechanical engineers for delivering projects on time.
