About Company
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum of 6 years product design experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with and demonstrated proficiency with Solidworks 3-D modeling software.
- Thermal analysis experience is required.
- GD&T drawing experience including releasing drawings.
- Testing experience (thermal, tolerance, etc.) would be required .
- High power design experience for assemblies greater than 200W is preferred.
- Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles is preferred.
- Familiarity with all design aspects, manufacturing and regulatory compliance (UL, CE, etc.) aspects of the product is required, would be preferable if in LED lighting systems.
- Experience with and proven knowledge of injection molded plastic, die cast, sheet metal design, manufacturing methods & processes.
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
- Well-developed and demonstrated interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated product execution from concept through commercialization on at least 1 projects of medium technical complexity involving concept generation, POC, verification, validation and certification as per global standards.
- Experience must include hand on experience with design of products from concept to commercialization including and not limited to part detailing and designing, component and material selection, drawing creation, 3D modeling of parts/assemblies and 2D dimensioning and tolerance of parts.
- Product design experience with lighting fixtures, LED product design including understanding of electrical parameters and thermal behaviors.
- Optical design experience.
- Structural analysis experience.
- SAP experience, Experience with ECNs and the associated work flows."
