Eligibility Criteria
- Have experience in mechanical design for RF and digital electronic packaging application
- Have strong knowledge in Mechanical design, thermal Design, solids of mechanics and heat transfer analysis and hand calculation.
- well conversant with engineering drawing conventions, drawing symbols, tolerancing, drafting/detailing, GD&T, assembly drawing and BOM
- Should have working experience using Solid works and AutoCAD
Job Description
- Design, development and mechanical packaging for electronic hardware to meet mechanical, thermal and structural requirements
- Hand calculation for vibration and thermal design
- Work with PCB design and electronic design engineer to arrive to optimum design and completion of project within the timeline
- Performing preliminary thermal and structural design and propose the design solutions and check the feasibility
- Optimize the design based on the inputs received from various reviews and incorporate the design change to finalize the design
- Selection of mechanical components, connectors, feed thru etc. to meet MIL and aerospace requirements
- Manufacturing drawings and documents preparation
- BOM creation for the whole assembly
- Design qualification as per specifications
