Job Description
- Team player working in Manufacturing engineering, delivering CAM preparation tasks for manufacturing a part/product meeting GKN standards and functional KPI of the organization.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering
- 5-8 years of experience working as a CAM engineer with considerable experience in generating CNC programming preferably with an Aircraft engine manufacturer.
- Good experience in Siemens NX
- A minimum of 3 years of shop floor experience with knowledge of manufacturing tools and processes in a medium-sized industry.
- Good experience in Turning and milling processes
- Good experience in the machining of Aerospace grade Titanium, Nickel and Aluminium alloys
- Experience in Siemens control system and simulation in Vericut
- User-level experience in Teamcenter or other PLM systems
- Ability to interpret complex drawings and a good understanding of GD&T
