Eligibility Criteria
- A Mechanical Engineering Degree (or equivalent) and work experience of around 14+ years.
- Excellent written and spoken English and strong communication skills
- Must be familiar with an engineering organization, the function of each discipline and how they interact and the function of the various support groups globally.
- Experience with global codes to include API, ASME, TEMA, IBR & PED requirements.
- Experience of preparing specification and requisitions for Pressure Vessels, Columns, Reactors, Cryogenic Storage Tanks, Vaporizers, and Heat Exchangers. Having experience of thermal design of Heat Exchanger shall be of advantage.
- Experience of vendor offer reviews and vendor documents approvals.
- Experience of vendor capability assessment and vendor qualification for mechanical equipment.
- Experience of working with manufacturers of fabricated equipment and quality control / inspection experience will be of advantage.
- Conversant with Software's like HTRI, PV Elite, Compress, Autopipe Vessels, Nozzle Pro etc.
Job Description
- Responsible for design of 1000 to 5 000 Mechanical man-hours pa
- Responsible for review of corresponding supplier documents.
- A Mechanical Engineer acts as the technical interface between AP project execution teams. The primary purpose is the delivery of a safe, fit for purpose design to an agreed schedule and budget.
- Providing support to other AP engineering centers as workload requires.
